Strategic Learning Reflection
We have learned about many thing in strategic leaning, but the most important to me and the most useful to me is chunking. I chunk with many things like studying and reading, I also use it for T.V. time and video game time. It is very useful because, you can spread out your work time, like 30 mins. a day instead of 3 hours in one day. It also can help you because if you cram you are not really studying, but if you put in in from little chunks it helps you understand better. It has help me the most and it should help everyone who crams the information.
Cartesian Diver
Our Cartesian Diver was not the fastest, but it worked. It was always positively buoyant, until we squeezed the bottle. When we did water filled it up and the air pocket got smaller, which made it negatively buoyant and forced it to go to the bottom. Since it was already positively buoyant, the mass or the weight was light because air is lighter than water. When we pressed against the bottle, water, which was the ballast filled up and most of the air went out so, the mass got heavier, which made it sink. However it never got neutrally buoyant on its own. We had to squeeze it and if it was ever neutrally buoyant, it was for a very short amount of time. The volume especially changed because when the diver was filling up with water the inside got heaver and changed it. The density changed the most because since the mass and the volume changed the density got heavier all because of the ballast or the water.
Sportsmanship In Everyday Life
Sportsmanship is something that most people lack of. It is when you congratulate your opponents on their effort, or not brag if you won something competitive, but to show sportsmanship it does not always have to be in a sport, it can be in everyday life. For example if your friend gets a bad grade on a test, you could make fun of them because you got a better grade, but if you want to show sportsmanship you could encourage them to do better next time. Once, in football, we had worked very hard for the win and at the end of it the we shook hands and said good game, we did not taunt the other team and that's an example of good sportsmanship. You can also demonstrate in in p.e. like you could encourage others, play good for your team and you could not be a sore loser or a boasting winner. A new way you can demonstrate good sportsmanship is, you can help the other team if you think they have earned it, like you could tell them in hockey to not hit as hard and the puck won't fly as much.
