1. Where are the oldest parts of the oceans?

I Think the oldest part of the ocean is the mid atlantic ridge because it has been there since the continents started spreading.

2. Do the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, and Arctic ocean basins have the same age and patterns? No I don't think they are the same age because when the continents split water caved in therefore making it an ocean.

3. How does the age of the ocean floor compare with the age of rocks on the continents? The rocks on the continents are a lot older than the rocks on the seafloor because of the volcanic activity new rocks are forming all the time.
