Considering Perspectives

My name is Alex Sanford, I am a 13 years old from Boise Idaho and I was raised in a Catholic Family. My dad was born in Los Gatos, California but later moved to Washington and graduated at Washington State University. My mom was born in Uzbekistan. I can speak English and Russian, but my parents and I almost always speak english at home. We speak Russian with my grandma (mom's side) and we spoke English with my grandpa (dad's side). Now I only have one grandparent and it is my grandma. My mom's dad passed when I was three and my dad's mom passed before I turned one. On September 11, 2015 my Grandpa died at the age of 95 in his house in Port Ludlow Washington. I didn't know him that well, but he was a big inspiration. In WWII he flew a PB4Y-2 four engine bomber and for as long as I can remember I wanted to be a pilot. I want to go to the Colorado Air Force Academy and after my military career I want to go into commercial flying. It's Hard to believe, but I never wanted to do anything else. As for my grandma she is the loving caring person that helps me accomplish my goals, whether that might be inspiration or teaching me something new, I could not have asked for a better grandma, or a better family.
