Fantasy

When I first started my fantasy writing I was very nerves, even though I had the story planed out in my head. Then I first started it and I was motivated to write, and when I really got into it I enjoyed so much. I had a little trouble with editing though, and that is what I think I need to work on the most. I think this fantasy writing piece will not only draw interest to the reader, but also will help us later in life, like if we had to write a good story at some point. I did have a lot of fun writing it, it gave especially me a chance to really use my imagination and creativity. Fantasy

One day there was a turtle named Fred. He was just like any other turtle except he had superpowers! He could stretch out for miles and he could fly! He could talk and change into other things and other people do anything that the other turtles could do and more. He was the happiest turtle until his owner was moving to Russia and he had to leave all his turtles behind. The boy begged and begged his parents, but still it was a no. When the boy left in a taxi, Fred flew after him. Fred finally caught up to the cab and climbed in without being seen. He snuck into the boys suitcase and was off on an adventure.


He snuck out of the boys suitcase right before takeoff and hid into the seat pocket.  They were flying for about an hour and Fred was very bored. Than all of a sudden the plane started shaking and the pilot had lost control, people were panicking and very scared, and then the plane stopped and was on the ground. Since Fred could fly he flew out of the emergency exit door. and looked around and saw rainbows and pony's and stuff like that. When everyone came out of the plane all the happy things turned into dreadful things like a lollipop turned into a black tank and all the candy turned into turrets and they all headed for the plane. The passengers were screaming and panicking and running out of the plane and back into the plane.


Then Fred changed into a human, a police man and said to all the people to follow him. So they did sort of follow him they ran in front of him and behind him because they were still scared. Fred got really frustrated and yelled, Every body stay calm!!! They FINALLY found a cave and spent the night their, but they could not sleep because all of the rich spoiled people. They were used to sleeping on thousand dollar mattresses and not on hard rock so they complained everybody to sleep, after a LONG while.


Fred woke up first and then he woke up the others. He felt some more noticed and he felt very happy. All of the people were up and ready to go, until some of those strange tanks passed by. One of the passengers leapt on the tank and got inside and he screamed, There is no one in here!! Then he jumped out and got to cover before the tank fired a lollipop? Then the passenger looked right at the lollipop and laughed, but then the lollipop explode and he was very scared. TO BE CONTINUED...

Christalite Methodist Home

We just got back from the Christalite Methodist Home and I had a lot of fun because I got to meet some very friendly people and I got to start a conversation with them. Some of them needed help with their arts and crafts so I tried the best to help them, others did not need any help but I guided them though to help just a little bit. There was this one very nice man who showed me a picture of him in the Singaporean Air Force. He also did some magic tricks for us and he played Amazing Grace on his harmonica. It was my first time there so I did not recognize anybody but it was very fun I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Thank you for reading.

My Goals

I am new this quarter so I did not do the fitness test but I'm looking forward to it next time. My goal is to get into the heathy range for all of the goals. I will practice them for ten minutes every night and whenever I have free time. I think these are some things that I am good at so I hope I do well next time. Thank you for reading!

Flight

If I could have one of the two superpowers between flight and invisibility I would choose flight. I would choose flight because I would be really fast and quick and I would be able to see a lot more in the sky then I would on the ground. I would feel free and then I would save everyone and I would become an Avenger! If had to clean up my room I would fly to the moon and I would fly peacefully to Germany until a German fighter jet would zoom out of the clouds and attack me so I would fly back to the U.S. and I would be safer than I was before. Well those are some things that I would do if I could fly. I would use flight for fun and for my own advantages. Thank you for reading!

Tibetan Bowls

The Tibetan Bowls were very relaxing to me because when I heard their unique sounds all my stress was gone, it was a very interesting. Those strange sounds put me in a different place where I did not worry as much. I felt very peaceful and very relaxed. The bowls made all sorts of noises, some sounded happier (higher) or sadder (lower), some bowls made sounds that i never even heard before! It was an amazing session and I wish to do it again, it made me more aware of the present. So if your feeling overwhelmed go on the internet and listen to some Tibetan Bowls.

Images of Singapore Museum

The Images of Singapore Museum was a lot of fun. All of it was really cool, but i liked the nativity scenes.  It gave us a idea of what people used to look like back then. I thought their clothes were very interesting because it tell us what they wore  even thought they were all manikins. The clothing mirrored their status. For example some of the people wore very nice clean clothes (they were probably wealthy), as for the rest of the people they wore average clothes so that must have meant they were not rich, but not poor. I learned some new things about Singapore too. I did not know that Singapore had a war with Japan, well I'm not surprised because Japan was one of the most aggressive countries (in WWII) and I was really surprised to hear that Singapore won. I was surprised because the Japanese had so many soldiers that were merciless and if you did not salute them they would bring out the firing squad when meant death. These facts were interesting and educational.
